The games will be played in the Post Finance Arena of Berne Schluefweg in Kloten. Berne is the stronghold of European Ice hockey and is all set to welcome the visitors to this beautiful place. This is the 73rd IIHF championship and it was held in Switzerland 11 years ago.

Participating Teams include:
Group A: This team has Belarus, Canada, Hungary and Slovakia.
Group B: This team has France, Germany, Russia and Switzerland.
Group C: This team has Austria, Latvia, Sweden and United States.
Group D: This team has Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland and Norway.

Preliminary Round:
Sixteen participating teams will be placed in the following four groups. After playing a round robin, the top three teams in every group will then advance to the qualifying round while the last team will complete in the Relegation Round.

Qualifying Round:
The top three in the standings of each group of the Preliminary Round advances to the qualifying round and are placed in two groups, teams from Group A compete in Group E, while teams from Groups B and C compete in the Group F. Each team is to play three games in this round, one against each of the three games from the other group with which they have been paired. These three games, along with the two games already played against the other two advancing teams from the same group in the Preliminary Round, will count in the qualifying Round standings. The top four teams in this group E and F will advance to the playoff Round.

Relegation Round:
The top two teams in the standings after the round robin will be invited back to the 2010 IIHF World Cup, while the bottom two will be relegated to the 2010 division I tournament.

Switzerland: – German (SF zwei), French (TSR2) and Italian (TSI 2).

Dates of the Rounds:
- Quarter finals: – May 6 between E1 and E4, May 6 between F1 and F4, May 6 between E2 and E3 and May 6 between F2 and F3.
- Semi-Finals:- May 8 between Winner of Quarter final 1 and Quarter final 4 and the second one is also on May 8 between the winners of Quarter finals 2 and 3.
- Bronze Medal Game: – May 9 between loser of semi final 1 and loser of semi final 2.
- Gold Medal Game: – May 10 between winners of semi final 1 and 2.

The organization committees are expecting more than 500,000 visitors from all parts of the world. Everyone is looking forward to be a part of one of the year’s greatest sports and want to experience the intensity of live world class ice hockey results. We all hope that the game entertains its fans and this event comes out to be a far-fetched one.

The 2010 Hockey World Cup will be the twelfth instalment of the Men’s Hockey World Cup. On November 14, 2007, the International Hockey Federation (FIH) announced that the championship would be held in India, taking place over two weeks from Feb 28 to March 13, 2010 at New Delhi’s Dhyan Chand National Stadium.[1]

India’s hosting of the event was put in doubt, however, when the FIH reviewed the progress of the Indian Hockey Federation’s “Promoting Indian Hockey” program and India’s preparation for the championship, and warned that “satisfactory progress had not been made in either area”.[2] India was warned it could lose the right to host the World Cup unless satisfactory progress was made.[3] It was confirmed on July 18, 2008 that International Hockey Federation formally awarded the hosting rights to India.[4]
Qualification

Three World Cup qualifying tournaments will be held in 2009 and 2010 in all. Pakistan won the first tournament which was held in Lille, France from October 31 to November 8, 2009. Pakistan defeated Japan 3-1 in a hard fought match.[5] Abdul Haseem Khan scored the first and the only field goal for Pakistan while the penalty corner specialist and great drag flick master Sohail Abbas hit the mark twice.[6] The hosts, New Zealand, won the second tournament held in Invercargill, New Zealand from November 7 to November 15, 2009 [7]. The third tournament which was played in Quilmes, Argentina from November 14 to November 22, 2009 [8] was won by the hosts, Argentina.

In the qualification criteria, each of the continental champion from five confederations and host receive an automatic berth. The confederations of Europe and Oceania will receive another three and one extra quotas respectively shall India qualified as host and Asia Cup champion. Many people avoid baseball caps when it is particularly hot or humid, because they tend to cause the head to become overheated, sweaty, itchy and uncomfortable in general. One way to get the benefits associated with baseball caps without any of the potential annoyances is to utilize baseball caps visors. These versatile hats are virtually identical to standard baseball caps with one exception. They lack the domed top, and are therefore more of a bill on an adjustable strap. Visors are ideal for a variety of sport and non-sport related uses, tend to be less expensive than standard baseball caps, and come in a virtually limitless array of colors and designs.

Many baseball and particularly women’s softball teams have transitioned to baseball caps visors in lieu of traditional baseball caps because they allow players to remain quite a bit cooler, while still shielding eyes from the suns blinding rays. These visors are easily customizable, and can often be purchased wholesale or in bulk at deep discounts. They are generally adjustable, and often have Velcro adjustor straps, but are also available in fitted styles as well. These types of baseball caps are generally made of cotton or canvas, and tend to be durable and long lasting.

You can generally get your baseball caps visors individualized and/or personalized extremely easily, either directly from the manufacturer, wholesaler or retailer; or you can take them to one of the numerous stores and kiosks that specialize in creating personalized products. Another great option is to go directly through a sporting goods store, because they often have contracts with several different companies, and can generally get you great discounts, especially if you are creating personalized visors for an entire team or league. One thing to keep in mind when submitting customization requests is to make sure that you have license to print and/or modify any logo or other graphic you want included on your hats.

Depending on your budget and needs, you can generally choose to have your baseball caps visors customized via printing or embroidery. Embroidery, obviously, tends to be the more expensive of the two choices. However, this is a case of getting what you pay for, as embroidery also tends to look more professional, be longer lasting, and withstand more abuse. This is of particular importance if you are purchasing your visors for use by a team, as sun and heat tend to warp and destroy printed on designs very rapidly.

Finally, baseball caps visors are not just popular among sports players; they have made quite a name for themselves in the service industry for use as part of uniforms. Many companies, both large and small, have incorporated the visors into their standard uniforms. This is particularly true among quick service food establishments. They are popular because they are cooler to wear than standard baseball caps; a big selling point when being worn in a hot and crowded kitchen, and also because they work great for keeping hair in place. This is a real concern when working with food.
